Tilt5 Gear 👓

I cherished the opportunity to work with Tilt5 on their state-of-the-art equipment.

For me, I took this opportunity to play and ideate with the Tilt5 Glasses and Wand.

Glasses are the medium that put the players in the AR world! They are light and easy to operate.

The Wand has amazing look and feel, it's responsiveness within the world is amazing!

Tilt5 Metrics! 📐

My brainstorming begins with capturing the concepts at hand.

This included playing published games as well as in a playground setting in the engine.

Here are the results of testing the equipment within the engine and capturing the advantages and limitations of the Wand!

Playtest 1 🎭

Our initial idea was to create Pinball x Peggle game within the realm of AR.

We playtested the viability of the control scheme and players' response to the prototype.

Playtest 2 🎭🎭

While playtesting, I laid various metrics to collect quantitative data.

Additionally, observational notes and post playtest survey allowed us to understand the impact of the idea deeply.

Blow Away is born from a pivot! 🍃

The Peggle x Pinball prototype failed to deliver on the intended design intentions.

As a result, we took the best from the playtests and doubled down on it! The Wand responsiveness, calming game about clearing the AR space.

As a result, Blow Away was the first zen game on the Tilt5 platform!
