What do you mean by 2 player on a single controller?

The innovative Control Scheme was the first of the 3C's we sought to solve!

Working with a unique control scheme was a bold adventure. More importantly, it's an opportunity to push the boundaries of game design. I decided to personify the controller for improved player agency and character development.

What is the market trend like?

The process of designing Dippy & Chippy began by analyzing various market-leading games!

Understanding the intricate differences between varied co-op games. This was significant in narrowing Dippy & Chippy's niche!

Along with analyzing, I was inspired from various games, HADES (Levels), Rocket League (Player communication), Cuphead (Decoupled systems)

How does Dippy & Chippy fit the bill?

🧬Simultaneous & Parallel Co-op

Either player can walk the character.

CO-OP: When both players walk in the same direction the ogres run!

On the other hand, Aiming is a one player task.

CO-OP: While one player is focused on aiming, the other can attack, creating a collaborative combat experience.
